POLICE have said a dog that was thought to have been stolen while out for a walk with its owner has been found dead.
Cocker spaniel Daisy was believed to have been snatched by three men while in South Sea Road on Thursday when she ran away to chase a bird.
However, she was found on Danes Dyke Beach at 10.35am today by a walker who recognised her and contacted police.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: "The owner of the dog has been informed and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
