OFFICIALS at the FA have confirmed they are investigating comments made by Hull City owner Assem Allam on the day his side beat Liverpool for the first time in their 109-year history.
Prior to kick-off, Allam had called fans protesting against his proposed name change from Hull City to Hull Tigers 'hooligans' and chanting subsequently followed throughout the 3-1 win over Liverpool at the KC Stadium.
In reference to the supporters song 'City Til We Die' Dr Allam said: "They can die as soon as they want, as long as they leave the club for the majority who just want to watch good football."
Whilst no official charge or statement from the FA is expected imminently, Allam could be charged this week as they have confirmed they will look at the nature of his comments today.
