A CHILD was rescued from the River Hull this afternoon after getting stuck in some mud.
Emergency services were called to reports someone had got into difficulties in the mud under the Stoneferry Bridge.
Police, ambulance and the fire service were called to the scene just after 3pm.
The child was pulled to safety and no injuries were reported.
