FORMER East Yorkshire Minister Reverend Paul Flowers has been arrested over drugs allegations, it has emerged.
West Yorkshire Police are understood to be questioning Mr Flowers, 63, who served Bridlington Methodist Church during the 1990s.
Mr Flowers was chairman of Co-operative Banking Group and the Co-operative Bank for three years from 2010 to May this year.
He was suspended by the church over allegations he bought and used illegal drugs including crystal meth, crack cocaine and ketamine.
