A six-year-old boy is critically ill in hospital following a crash in Snaith, near Goole.
Police were called to Selby Road, in Snaith, at 5.10pm yesterday after a silver Peugeot 106 car reportedly came off the road and rolled down an embankment. The driver of the car, believed to be the boy's uncle, and the front passenger, believed to be the boy's mother, suffered minor injuries.
The six-year-old boy was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries. A three-year-old girl was also hurt.
