HULL City fans are in dreamland given their side sit second in the Championship over Christmas.
And the great news is, that in my mind, better is still to come this season.
I have been saying it since the first few weeks of the season, but there are no better sides in the league than Steve Bruce's men.
And the Tigers are still a work in progress, and with some new additions in the January transfer window, City should have their sights firmly set on automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
Yes, there could be a wobble at some stage, and a finish in the play-offs would still be a good one given what was expected this season.
But I think City must look beyond that given their position, and the way they are playing, and must target the top two, and possibly even first place.
Bruce deserves great credit for City's lofty position.
He came in and took the decision to look at the players at his disposal, and play a system which suited them.
Many managers come to a new club and insist on their own formations and systems which they have used elsewhere.
The problem is, this usually takes six to seven months for players to adapt, and the season is pretty much over before they find their feet.
Bruce made sure City hit the ground running this season, and now, he has a team who are completely comfortable with the way they play.
You can see the players are enjoying their football, and that gives me confidence that they can stay at the top and handle the pressure of being the side to catch.
There is a good blend of youth and experience, and with a new striker added in January, City should have the strength needed.
For Bruce personally, he must be over the moon with how things have gone.
It was a big decision for him to join the Tigers, especially given the controversy at the club over the summer, and the manner of his exit from Sunderland the previous season.
In the modern day game, no manager can afford to have two consecutive fails on his CV – it pretty much kills off your career.
He will have known that coming to the Tigers, and perhaps that has influenced the way he has approached the job.
From day one he has ensured he has kept the pressure off his players.
We often see sides in the Championship telling all the world how good they are, and often they are the ones who come unstuck.
Never has he shouted from the roof-tops about his side, as he has been keen to keep his side out of the spotlight and allow them to play.
That is impossible now, as everybody is starting to see that this City side is capable of going all the way.
City fans can enjoy their Christmas dinner knowing there is a real possibility that come the summer, their side will be heading back to the elite of English football with a return to the Premier League. Neither they, nor the City players, manager or owners probably dared think that in August.
