BANNERS encouraging football fans to return to Hull have been unveiled.
Cardiff fans were the first to see the banners, which show the city has much more to offer than top-class football.
The wall graphics showing off Hull's top tourist spots were revealed to thousands of fans in the away stand of the KC Stadium on Saturday.
Part of a £2.5m investment to improve the stadium by Hull City, they have been delivered by Hull and East Yorkshire Bondholders and Hull Business Improvement District to encourage visitors to stay in the city longer or return for a weekend break.
Peter Aarosin, chair of the Bondholders, said: "We are delighted to transform the concourse used by away fans. It's a great opportunity to let football fans from far and wide know what Hull and the wider region have to offer."
A total of 50,000 visiting fans are expected to attend games at the KC Stadium this season.
All will see seven large wall coverings promoting The Deep, the marina, shopping and nightlife and the shortlisting for UK City of Culture 2017.

Hull City marketing manager James Mooney said: "We're using some of the additional income from the Premier League to create a legacy in an improved match-day experience for supporters.
"It all creates a much more attractive and friendly environment to complement top-class Premier League football and Super League rugby fans can enjoy on the pitch."
