A MAN is in hospital after being hit by an articulated lorry when he fell from a bridge over the A63.
The 54-year-old man from North Ferriby fell from the Woodgates Lane bridge in the village at about 4.50pm on Saturday afternoon.
He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary and is being treated for serious injuries.
Part of the dual carriageway was closed for a time after emergency services arrived to treat the man but the road was fully re-opened later. Traffic is flowing normally this morning.
Witnesses should call police on 101 quoting log 488 of September 7.
