HULL City will face Huddersfield in a home tie in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
It will be the first time the Tigers have met the West Yorkshire side since City fans faced restricted travel arrangements for a fixture against Huddersfield in March.
City beat Leyton orient 1-0 to progress to the third round, Championship side Huddersfield beat Charlton 3-2.
Supporters were ordered by the police to catch an official coach from Hull or rendezvous at an M62 service station so they could travel to the stadium by coach.
West Yorkshire Police also restricted the number of tickets for City fans to 1,700 – despite a capacity for away supporters of 4,000 – after the kick-off time was changed from 12.30pm to 5.20pm so the game could be televised on Sky Sports.
A senior police officer has since been drafted in to review the police's decision to impose the restrictions.
After last night's cup draw Humberside Police assistant chief constable Stuart Donald tweeted: "We look forward to the visit of our football supporting friends from Huddersfield Town"
Capital Cup third round draw matches will be played on September 24 and 25.
The most notable fixture sees Manchester United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford with Luis Suarez expected to make his return for the Merseyside club.
