SHE has helped police trace victims of murder investigations and bring missing people back to their loved ones.
Now Hull-born psychic medium Paula O'Brien, is returning to the region to perform at the Mercure Royal Hotel in the city.
Paula, who currently lives in Scotland, said: "I found out I had something special around the age of two and it just developed from there.
"I am able to see, hear and feel spirits and have an incredible knack of knowing everything about people I help. I am able to give people a much needed boost in their own world.
"The messages I can pass on from loved ones in spirit can be truly amazing and, to be honest, it even still surprises me."
The former Wolfreton School pupil was recently involved in finding a missing man from Kirkcaldy in Scotland.
She said: "Although, sadly, I couldn't bring him home alive, I was still able to find him within 15 minutes of receiving the email to ask me if I would help.
"The police had to be involved as he was in a difficult place to get too, but at least he was bought home and his family are able to beginning grieving now."
Paula is looking forward to returning to the Hull area, and in particular Hessle, where she grew up.
She said: "My parents were both local councillors and charity fundraisers in the area and bought the first cancer mammography machine for Castle Hill Hospital.
"It is always nice to come back home and see my friends and family."
Paula now has a huge fan base with 30,000 followers on Facebook and a sell-out tour under her belt in Scotland.
She will perform in Hull on October 3.
