PETER Gentle admits Hull FC have injury issues ahead of the Challenge Cup final but is refusing to panic and feels his side can cope.
The Black and Whites saw their last-gasp 18-13 victory over Salford soured by the loss late on of both centres Joe Arundel and Kirk Yeaman.
Arundel left the stadium with his hand heavily iced after injuring himself in a try-saving tackle, while Yeaman went down in the last minute with an ankle injury that forced him to be helped off the field.
The situation was compounded by an apparent dead leg for Danny Tickle, although the second row was moving much more freely as he walked around the stadium to celebrate a vital win for Hull.
"We have a few issues but we will see how that presents itself over the weekend," said Gentle.
"We will get a better idea over the weekend, but someone will put their hand up and play though.
"If they are out, someone else will get an opportunity."
While Gentle was eager to remain upbeat it was clear the loss of Yeaman and Arundel, with Ben Crooks already ruled out and Tom Lineham unlikely to play, was a hammer blow to Hull.
Both will be sent for scans today with Hull nervously waiting for the results as they prepare for their biggest week of the season.
Gentle's side will at least head to Wembley buoyed by a victory that virtually guarantees their play-off place, barring a miracle.
The two points were hard- earned, with Joe Westerman's 78th-minute try coming to his side's rescue as they finished 18-13 winners.
"It was a game sandwiched between a derby and the most exciting game the club has had for a while and you could see there were one or two players slightly distracted," added Gentle.
"But I don't want to take anything away from Salford because they made us work for it.
"We found a way to win, we got the two points and now we have the cup to look forward to.
"It was an important win because I think it assures us our play-off place now and that is one box ticked."
