Hull City have been drawn away at Leyton Orient in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
It means a return to Brisbane Road for Steve Bruce's men, after Orient took them to a replay in the third round of last season's FA Cup.
The Tigers eventually scraped through on that occasion thanks to Tom Cairney's extra-time winner.
But the League One side were unlucky not to have pulled off a shock in the first match at the KC Stadium, when City's blushes were spared by Nick Proschwitz's stoppage-time equaliser.
The match will be played in the week of August 26 and Bruce is sure to rest players ahead of the trip to Manchester City the following weekend.
City were knocked out away at Doncaster in the second round of last season's League Cup. The last time the Tigers progressed to the third round was in the 2009-10 season, when they were beaten by Everton.
Orient reached the second round in dramatic fashion on Tuesday evening after beating Coventry City 3-2 - thanks to a last-minute Kevin Lisbie header.
The Tigers, as a Premier League club, were given a first round bye.
