Egyptian under-20s star Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim looks poised to turn down a trial at Hull City and join Swiss side FC Luzern.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce had admitted he was keen to take a closer look at the youngster but he now seems set for a season-long loan in Switzerland.
Nicknamed 'Kahraba' - which means electricity on Arabic- the 19-year-old could seal the deal by the end of this week, with the Swiss Super League side having an option to buy if he impresses.
"Everything has been firmly nailed. We have an agreement with the the club and with the player," said Alexander Frei, Luzern's sports director.
"Kahraba can be a big offensive asset to our team. He is a player who can play on both flanks and aslo as a second forward behind the striker."
