A woman is recovering after being hit by a car in Hull's Castle Street during the Humber Street Sesh festival.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was crossing the Castle Street dual carriageway near the Marina when she was hit by a black Renault Clio.
Police blocked the road as she was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance. She suffered minor injuries to her neck and shoulder.
An eyewitness who called 999 said he was amazed she was not more seriously hurt.
The man, who asked not be named, said: "There were hundreds and hundreds of people trying to get over the road.
"It was crowded with people and all of a sudden this car hit somebody and she flew into the air."
Police have not arrested anyone involved in the collision, on Saturday at about 4.05pm, and do not believe an offence was committed.
