EAST YORKS: People wanting to gain a higher level sports qualification can now study for a full bachelor of science degree at East Riding College.
From September, the college will be running a one-year "top-up" course, equivalent to the final year of a degree, at its Beverley and Bridlington campuses.
Head of sport, Paul Smith, said: "This top-up degree is for students who are looking to develop their understanding of sport, exercise and coaching for competition, recreation and health.
"The course allows people to expand their existing knowledge through a large range of exercise, fitness and coaching-based modules."
