DEDICATED Hull FC fans set up camp to be the first in line for Wembley tickets.
Dozens of supporters turned up from 1.30pm at the KC Stadium yesterday ahead of tickets going on sale at 9am today.
Hull FC face Wigan in London in the rugby league clash on Saturday, August 24.
The Black and Whites have received an initial allocation of 15,000 tickets, which can be increased if required.
John Dickinson, of west Hull, was the first in the queue and has been a fan for more than 40 years.
He said: "We've got the team to do it this time.
"Although we've been beaten in the past, I think this could be our year.
"I've camped out before in 2008 and I turned up this time at 1.30pm to get tickets for friends and family.
"We're hoping it doesn't rain, but we have a little bit of shelter near the ticket office."
John was sitting with fellow fans Ian Norton and son Josh Walgate, and friend Donna Parker.
Ian, 44, said camping for tickets was a new experience for his youngest son, who has started to support Hull FC.
"I've been a fan since I was a child, so I'm passing it down," Ian said.
"I think we've got the right amount of support and everyone is behind the team."
Eight years after Hull FC last lifted silverware and five years since their last Wembley appearance, they will get the chance to claim the game's oldest trophy.
The team had to survive a torturous final five minutes to book their place to face Wigan with a shock Tetley's Challenge Cup semi-final win against Warrington.
Ian Bailey, 49, of west Hull, said it was touch-and-go, but he was glad his beloved team finally pulled through.
He took a tent along to the stadium and plans to buy 27 tickets for friends and family.
Ian said: "This sort of thing doesn't happen often and camping is all part of the experience for fans.
"I've got plenty of sandwiches and drinks to last me.
"A lot of people expected us to get beaten in the semi-final, but we've got a decent chance of winning this trophy."
Fan Donna Parker, 33, used to play rugby and represented Great Britain.
She said: "It's a lot more nerve-racking watching a game, but I love Hull FC.
"I camped out last time and there were hundreds of people here, singing songs and having a good laugh."
