Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to hit the region this weekend, the Met Office has said.
It has issued a yellow warning for rain across Hull and the East Riding from midnight until 2pm tomorrow.
The Met Office is predicting up to 30mm of rain could fall in an hour as storms move north through England.
Sarah Holland, of the Met Office, said: "We are expecting some pretty big rainfall totals in some places, which could cause disruption due to surface water and may also lead to localised flooding.
"An area of heavy rain and thunderstorms is moving up from France on Saturday and we are expecting it to hit Hull and the East Riding on Sunday. Rainfall amounts will vary, though, and there will still be some sunny spells around."
Temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 21 degrees this weekend.
