TWO Hull KR fans have been charged by police after missiles were thrown onto the pitch during the Super League clash with Warrington Wolves on Sunday.
A bottle was thrown at referee Tim Roby while a flare was also hurled onto the field at the Halliwell Jones stadium.
Police made two arrests during Wolves's 34 - 6 win.
Wayne Birjoo, aged 32, of Foxholm Road, Hull, has been charged with section 39 assault.
Stephen Cooper, aged 20, of Uxbridge Grove, Hull, has been charged with a public order offence.
Both men are due at Halton Magistrates' Court on September 2.
