CLARENCE House say they will "play it by ear" ahead of Prince Charles and Camilla's expected visit to East Yorkshire tomorrow. Following the news of The Duchess of Cambridge going into labour this morning, officials are awaiting confirmation and may know more this afternoon.
Kate was admitted to St Mary's Hospital in London at about 6am and is said to be "progressing well" as Twitter goes into meltdown ahead of the baby's arrival.
Prince William is by her side, while Prince Charles and Camilla are being kept informed of her condition while on a visit to York Railway Museum.
The pair are set to arrive in Burton Fleming tomorrow, where the Prince of Wales will meet members of the community affected by the floods in January and emergency service workers at The Burton Arms Public House.
The Prince will then meet fishermen and members of the community at Bridlington's harbour, while The Duchess will meet representatives of local charities and community groups at The Spa Bridlington.
The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Fish and Chips at 149, which won the 2011 Fish and Chip shop of the year award, and the pair will then stop off at Bridlington Priory to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the Priory.
Their Royal Highnesses are expected to finish their trip with a visit to Withernsea, where they will meet fishermen and members of the community in Valley Gardens and the Southern Holderness Resource Centre.
