A63 delays after police car crash

TRAFFIC is backing up on the A63 heading out of Hull this morning after a car crashed into a police car near St Andrews Quay. The police car was at the scene of an earlier collision when the crash happened. Traffic is queueing past Daltry Street and Humberside Police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible. The westbound carriageway was closed following the accident, but one lane has now reopened.Updated 8.15am. More to follow.
