A MOTORCYCLIST was flown to hospital by air ambulance after a crash involving a car and caravan.
The man was trapped under the caravan after the crash at 12.50pm on Saturday.
It happened on the old A165 road, now known as Starcarr Lane, which links Leven and Brandesburton.
Inspector Steve Beveridge of Humberside Police said: "The collision was between a car towing a caravan and a red motorcycle.
"As a result of the collision the motorcyclist was trapped under the caravan and had to be extracted by the emergency services.
"The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was flown to hospital by air ambulance."
Any witnesses to the accident are asked to call police on 101.
