Hull City and Burnley FC have confirmed Charlie Austin's proposed move to the KC Stadium is off.
As reported exclusively by the Mail this morning, the Tigers' bid to sign Austin collapsed at the 11th hour after a medical.
City said this morning Burnley striker Charlie Austin will not be joining the club after "unforeseen complications halted a proposed move".
Burnley echoed that wording in their own official statement.
The Clarets statement continued: "Austin, 24, remains a Burnley player and the club will make no further comment at his time."
Earier this morning, City boss Steve Bruce told TalkSport the deal was "a non-starter" after a problems were raised with Austin's medical.
