East Coast train services are beginning to return to normal, after earlier power lines were damaged twice in two days.
Another train operator's service joining the main line at Hitchin said the new overhead power lines had been damaged, after the previous ones were damaged yesterday afternoon.
Network Rail, which is responsible for the track, signals and overhead lines, said the further damage to the lines happened at 7am this morning.
Road replacement services are now being operated by East Coast.
