They are being asked to consider extending the zone to include an area around the Boulevard from Queens Gate Street to Chomley Street.
If agreed, residents living in the area would be required to buy a pass to allow them to park near their properties when events are taking place at the stadium.
The move would also prevent visitors heading to the stadium to park in the zone.
A survey carried out last year in the area found a majority of respondents in favour of extending the parking zone but an objection from a resident lodged during a recent formal consultation period claims the low response rate to the survey means its findings should not be used to justify the new scheme.
The objector also claims there is no current parking issues in the area on match days.
HULL: In a recent edition of the Mail, it was reported that Michael Bamforth wanted to turn a carpet store in Chanterlands Avenue, west Hull, into a wine bar.
We have been asked to clarify that Mr Bamforth is acting as the architectural agent for applicant and carpet shop owner Chris Lee, who is seeking to change the use of the building, which he also owns.
