A seven-week programme of resurfacing work has started on the A63 and M62.
The work will include sections of both the eastbound and westbound carriageways between the Southcoates Lane roundabout in east Hull to junction 38 of the M62 at North Cave.
The resurfacing will be carried out between 8pm and 6am to avoid congestion but sections of the road, together with slips roads, will be closed during the work.
The Highways Agency say alternative routes will be signposted at all times.
