Former pupils of Hull Trinity House Academy have been given one last look round before the school moves to a new site.
A total of 300 former students from the school and their families returned to say goodbye to the building in Princes Dock Street.
Due to the dilapidated state of the building, the school is moving to the former University of Lincoln building in George Street, city centre.
The refurbished premises will allow the school to double in size, taking 600 rather than 300 pupils.
A party with a hog roast dinner was held at the school and both current and former pupils will take part in the Lord Mayor's Parade tomorrow morning.
Academy principal Karen Keaney said: "This is a weekend to allow as many old boys as possible a last chance to look round the school.
"The school has been on this site for 170 years and we just wanted to give people the opportunity to come back for one last time.
"It is an emtoinal time but the school is past its sell-by date."
