Walkington Road in Little Weighton is closed for emergency repairs this morning after a van crashed into a telegraph pole.
The road is closed both ways between Skidby Road and Bluestone Bottoms, after a Mercedes van crashed into the pole around 2.30am.
People in the vehicle left the scene before emergency services arrived.Updated 8.55am.
