A woman was taken to hospital after her car crashed on the A165 in Coniston this morning.
The police, ambulance and fire service were called to the scene at 7am following the crash, which involved a blue Ford Escort.
The woman driver of the car was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance, suffering minor injuries.
The road was closed for a while to enable emergency services to treat the woman on the scene.
Any witnesses who have not spoken to police are asked to call 101 quoting log number 101 of June 26.
