DETECTIVES were today continuing to investigate the death of a "funny and outgoing" man found dead in the garden of his family home.
Friends of the man, named locally as Dale Partington who was in twenties, paid tribute to the fitness fanatic last night as they awaited the results of a post-mortem.
Mr Partington's body was discovered shortly before 8am yesterday in St Lawrence Avenue, Snaith, following a night out with friends.

Friend and neighbour Shane Tune, 19, said he saw Mr Partington in Selby just a few hours before his body was found.
Mr Partington is also known to have visited pubs in Snaith that night.
"I've known him for a quite a few years but I don't know his mates," said Mr Tune.
"I just bumped into him by chance in Selby.
"He was a funny, outgoing lad. He was always out running or biking."
Mr Tune's mum, Paula, said: "Dale used to live across the road from us but then he moved around the corner. My eldest son, Jonathan, is his best friend."
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen him in Snaith Market Place.
Officers revealed yesterday afternoon a man had been arrested.
Deputy Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Paul Dixon, said: "We have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with this incident but we have a lot more enquiries to do in order to establish the victim's whereabouts and what happened to him leading up to his body being discovered and I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact us."
Other neighbours in the quiet cul-de-sac, which is next to The Snaith School, off Pontefract Road, knew Mr Partington and his mother well.
One, who asked not to be identified, said: "I was brought up with his mum. The family have lived in this area a long, long time.
"This is a real shame, we can't take it in.
"This is a quiet area and you don't expect something like this around here."
The scene was still cordoned off late yesterday evening.
Anyone who has any information, which they believe would assist the police in their investigation, or was in and around Snaith Market Place or St Lawrence Avenue in the late evening and early hours of Saturday and Sunday, should call police on 101, quoting log 197 of December 16.
