Man, 26, charged after collision with pedestrian in Beverley Road

A man has been charged after a Ford Fiesta collided with a pedestrian in Beverley Road.
The 26-year-old driver has been charged with driving while disqualified, uninsured and taking a vehicle without consent.
At about 7.40pm on Tuesday, June 11, the car collided with a 48-year-old man at the junction of Queens Road after the driver failed to stop for police.
The man was assisted to his feet by passers by and suffered a minor neck injury.
The police car was not close by at the time of the collision but witnesses may have seen it shortly afterwards.
Officers continue to investigate and are asking for any witnesses to contact Sergeant Chris Wright at Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 686 of June 11.
