THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of causing an explosion in Hedon.
Residents spoke out after the mystery explosion at the Market Hill car park near St Augustine's Church, just before 2am yesterday (Thursday).
Humberside Police have today arrested three local men, aged 42, 37 and 31, on suspicion of causing the explosion.
All three are now in police custody awaiting questioning by detectives.
Inquiries are ongoing and officers still wish to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious.
Detective Inspector Paul Kirby said: "I would like to reassure the local community in Hedon that Humberside Police have dealt with this incident with the seriousness it deserved and have arrested these three suspects promptly.
"I would be very keen still to hear from anyone who was in the Market Hill area of Hedon in the early hours of yesterday and who might have seen three men."
