YOUNG entrepreneurs have presented to a conference of business leaders and community organisations.
The aim of the event, called the Youth Enterprise Summit, was to show how enterprising young people in Hull and the East Riding are, and what extra support they need to help them meet their full potential.
Delegates had the chance to meet and talk to some of the city's youngest entrepreneurs at the day, held at Malet Lambert School, in James Reckitt Avenue, east Hull.
Guests heard about the success of three businesses associated with the school, two of which are currently in the school and one founded by an ex-pupil who now runs Xuro Computers.
Former star of the Apprentice Ruth Badger, pictured, was at the event and gave a speech to delegates.
There was also a question and answer session and a chance to look around the school, which has been refurbished under the Building Schools for the Future scheme.
The event was part of Humber Business Week 2013 which sees a host of events taking place across East Yorkshire.
