Carr Lane hit-and-run victim who walked to hospital now in critical condition

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being run over.

The man, 57, walked to Hull Royal Infirmary at about 10am last Saturday to say he had been hit and was initially treated for minor injuries.

However, his condition has since deteriorated and he is now in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

Humberside Police are appealing for help in locating the driver, who didn't stop at the scene, following the accident on Carr Lane.

Police do not have any details of the vehicle involved in the accident and are now appealing for any witnesses or the driver of the vehicle to come forward.
