HULL KR coach Craig Sandercock says his side is in great spirits and ready to put last week's derby disappointment behind them against Bradford tomorrow.

The Robins were left distraught by the injustice of their 22-16 loss to Hull at the Magic Weekend, leading to much controversy and debate since.

However, Sandercock says his side is ready to be at their best when facing the Bulls at MS3 Craven Park tomorrow after a solid week of training.

"The boys have been in really good spirits this week," he said.

"We are improving, as we showed against Wigan, Wakefield and then against Hull.

"We are slowly getting there, and it's work in progress.

"We seem to have disruptions every week which stops us a little bit, but there have been signs that we are starting to turn the corner.

"This game against Bradford will be a good indicator to see how far we have come."

Victory tomorrow will certainly ease the disappointment experienced at the Etihad last Saturday evening.

A win will bring Rovers level on points with Bradford with 10 games remaining, and Sandercock feels it's the perfect game to show everyone his side are capable of making a run for the play-offs.

"We can prove that we are a good side," Sandercock said.

"It's an important game for us to get back on the horse.

"As long as we are competitive and turn up with the right attitude, I'm confident.

"We need to make sure we hold our own against Bradford and get an even share of the ball.

"We are confident that if we do, we'll be there or thereabouts."
