EAST YORKS: East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club is gearing up for its 45th East Coast run from Hull to Bridlington.
Last year, more than 500 vehicles attended the event and, once again, hundreds are expected to join the rally, including classic and historic buses, lorries, military and emergency vehicles, historic and classic cars.
Drivers will meet for the rally at Hull's East Park on Sunday, June 9, from 9.30am to 11am, before setting off for the coast.
Vehicles will head for Sewerby Fields, near Bridlington, where they are expected to arrive from noon.
There will be no charge to see the vehicles at East Park and Sewerby Fields.

HULL: An event celebrating female writers will take place next week.
Hull Central Library in Albion Street is hosting a party on Tuesday for the Women's Prize For Fiction.
The party evening is being held to discuss the six shortlisted books for the event that was formerly known as the Orange Prize for Literature.
There will be refreshments, quizzes and prizes and the group will vote on their favourite book after discussions.
The six shortlisted books are:

Can We Be Forgiven? by AM Holmes
Flight Behaviour by Barbara Kingsolver
Bring Up The Bodies by Hilary Mantel
Where'd You Go Bernadette? by Maria Semple
N-W by Zadie Smith.
Librarian and organiser Hattie Johnson said: "This is an interesting and varied collection of books which are well worth reading.
"If you enjoy discussing books and are passionate about reading then try some, or all, of the shortlist and come along to our event."

E RIDING: A beach clean will take place at South Landing in Flamborough next month.
Organised by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, the clean-up will take place on Sunday, June 9, from noon to 2pm.
People are being invited to join trust staff for the thorough beach clean.
During the last clean-up volunteers and staff removed 30 bags of litter.
Those taking part should meet at the Living Seas Centre in Flamborough where they will be handed litter-pickers and gloves before heading down to the beach.
Afterwards, there will be marine litter-related activities at the centre.
E RIDING: A sponsored walk and family treasure hunt will take place at Market Weighton Secondary School tomorrow.
You can join either the eight, 14 or 21-mile routes through the countryside in aid of Dove House Hospice. The walk starts at 8am.
There will also be a giant adventure treasure hunt through the streets of Market Weighton following the tale of Giant Bradley – the largest recorded man in England.

E YORKS: A barbecue will be held next month as part of a networking event on regeneration in the region.
The event, organised by East Riding Council and the Federation of Small Businesses, will take place at Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington on Thursday, June 20, from 5.30pm to 8pm. The cost is £5.
E YORKS: Divers can take part in a survey of sea life next month, organised by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Seasearch North East.
The boat dive will be off Bridlington on Saturday, June 29, from 10am.
