THE mother of tragic Hull soldier Johnathon Young is devastated after DNA tests revealed he is not the father of a little boy who calls her "Nana".
Private Young, 18, was killed instantly after stepping on a Taliban bomb in August 2009.
Amy Collins, 21, claimed she had a fling with the soldier shortly before he flew to the war zone.
She has previously told the Mail Private Young, of Orchard Park, Hull, is the father of her son, Layton, who turned four last month.
But DNA tests have proven Private Young is not the boy's father.
Private Young's mother, Angie Fox, said: "I am fuming. It's like losing Johnathon all over again.
"Layton calls me Nana. We formed a real bond over the past four years."
Amy was last night unavailable for comment.
