Police say they are "very concerned" about a 73-year-old man who has gone missing from his East Yorkshire home.
Robert Storey, known to friends as Clive, was last seen leaving his home in Millfield Garth, Middleton on the Wolds, on Wednesday at 3pm.
Officers searched through the night for Mr Storey and are continuing look for him in the Driffield and in the Kiplingcotes area.
A police spokewoman said: "Police are now growing very concerned for the welfare of Mr Storey as in a recent conversation with his family, he appeared to be somewhat distressed and he is currently on medication, which he may not have taken with him.
"The East Riding was subjected to some torrential weather conditions last night and police are now asking people across the area to check their sheds, their gardens and any other out buildings where it is possible for a person to take shelter."
Mr Storey is described as white, 5ft 10in tall and stocky. He has blue eyes, short grey hair and a grey moustache. He was last seen wearing a grey hat, black coat with white piping down the sleeve, black trousers and a black t-shirt.
