An empty shop in Hull has been turned into a pop-up squash court to encourage more people to take part in the sport.
The Big Hit campaign is at 17 Whitefriargate today and tomorrow.
Visitors will be given a taster for squash and racketball and may even get the opportunity to take on former U19 British Junior Champion James Earles, who is from the city.
The taster comes just days before the first Allam British Open Squash Championships at the KC Stadium next week.
Councillor Terry Geraghty, Hull City Council's portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: "We hope that from this we'll encourage people to give the sport a further go in one of the city's leisure centres."
Steve Amos, head of development at England Squash and Racketball, said: "This is the perfect way to
utilise empty retail space around the country. Making good use of it to get the public playing a sport like squash is blindingly simple and part of a wider promotion with public facilities and clubs."
