Hull Truck Theatre has announced the appointment of Janthi Mills in a key role.
Janthi is currently general manager of Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, and will join Hull Truck as executive director on August 19.
Currently a member of the board of the Independent Theatre Council, Janthi was nominated in the 2012 Theatrical Management Association Awards for 'Theatre Manager of the Year'.
Janthi will join Mark Babych, Hull Truck Theatre's recently-appointed artistic director, as they head up the leadership team of the company.
She said she was looking forward to working with Mark Babych and the Truck team to put them "firmly on the map as one of the country's leading regional producing theatres."
Geoff Sargieson, chairman of the Hull Truck board of directors, said her appointment completed the restructing of the theatre company's senior management team.
"With Mark Babych as artistic director, we now have the ideal pairing to lead the company towards increased financial stability and continuing artistic success," he said.
