Hull City's Sonny Bradley and Danny East have signed for Portsmouth.
The defenders, both 21, came through the ranks at City but only made a handful of first-team appearances and spent last season out on loan.
Both have agreed two-year deals with Pompey.
Bradley, who played 42 times for Aldershot last season, told Portsmouth's official website: "I can't wait to be here next season and to be part of a winning team.
"We all know what has happened here recently, but this is a big club and some big players have been here over the past few years."
East, a free agent after spending last season on loan at Northampton and Gillingham, said: "This is a massive club who shouldn't really be at this level – now I've got the opportunity to help them rebuild."
