A HULL man has fallen to his death from a balcony in Dubai - just weeks after getting married.
Police have launched an inquiry into the death of Elwood McIlwraith, whose family live in the Hessle Road area.
The exact circumstances surrounding his death remain shrouded in mystery and it is not clear if he lived in the building where he fell.
Mr McIlwraith, 29, grew up in the city and it is believed he went to Malet Lambert School in east Hull before joining the Royal Navy. He remained in the military for five years and served in the Gulf for nine months in 2005.
