Wests Tigers say reports they are about to release Jacob Miller are wide of the mark.
The Australian press suggested yesterday Hull FC were close to signing Miller. But Wests confirmed today the reports were "speculation at this point", and Miller would play in the New South Wales Cup tomorrow night at Leichhardt Oval.As previously reported by the Mail, Hull have looked at the former Junior Kangaroos player as a replacement for the departed Brett Seymour.
Having been coached in the junior grades by Peter Gentle, Miller has a good relationship with the Hull coach and a swap from the NRL to the KC Stadium remains a likely outcome.
However, the Mail understands no agreement has been made at this stage and Miller has not applied for a visa which would be required to complete the move.
