KIRK Yeaman will take the next step in his rehabilitation when running for the first time since ankle surgery on Monday.

The Hull FC centre has spent much of pre-season in the gym working on his fitness after an operation in the Autumn.

Now, he is expected to join the club's physio for a full work-out on Monday, ahead of a return to full training.

"I'm looking forward to getting out on the field and I'm feeling good," Yeaman told the Mail.

"I've been working hard in pre-season and my fitness is good, it's just about getting back out running now.

"The aim has always been to make sure I'm fully fit for the trip to Tenerife and it looks like I will be, so that's great."

Celebrating his testimonial year, the 29-year-old sees his official shirt go on sale today priced £45 for adults and £35 for children, with his first event being held on Monday night at Hull City Hall.

Yeaman will be joined by Hull players past and present for his Xmas Factor show, as the likes of Danny Houghton, Danny Washbrook, James Webster and Aaron Heremaia sing their favourite Christmas songs, judged by owner Adam Pearson and Hull FC fan and ex-Hull City manager Nick Barmby. Tickets cost £10 adults and £5 children.
