A lit firework was pushed through a letter box at a home in Driffield, in an alleged arson attack.
Some time between 11pm on Sunday, April 21, and 7.30am the following morning, a terraced property on Cranwell Street was targeted when the lit firework was pushed through the post box.
Minor damage was caused to the curtain at the door and there was a single scorch mark on the carpet.
No-one was injured.Police would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident or anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the relevant time.Anyone with information is asked to ring police on 101 referring to log 111 of 22 April 2013.
