A WOMAN killed at a house in east Hull was stabbed to death, police have confirmed.
The woman in her 80s suffered stab wounds to her chest at her home in Summergangs Road.
A man in his 70s was also stabbed and remains in hospital, where he is being spoken to by police.
Officers have arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in custody being interviewed by detectives.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said the boy is known to the couple and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbings.
Police were called to the house at 3.30am yesterday, where they found the couple with serious injuries.
The 17-year-old was later arrested outside Primark in Hull city centre, which was cordoned off for most of yesterday.
Scenes of crime officers remain at the house in Summergangs Road today while they continue their investigations.
