Dropping litter in the city has cost a Bransholme man £320.
Jonathan Keogh, 49, was spotted dropping litter by a PCSO and was found guilty in his absence at Hull Magistrates Court.
Keogh, of Dulverton Close was fined £220, including a £20 victims' surcharge, and was ordered to pay costs of £100 to Hull City Council.
Councillor John Hewitt, portfolio holder for neighbourhoods and communities, said: "There is no excuse for littering in Hull as there are hundreds of litter bins across the city. People should take responsibility for getting rid of their rubbish in a responsible manner and help keep Hull clean and tidy for residents and visitors."
