Hull FC coach Peter Gentle says the club are continually looking to bring in a new half-back, but admits it may not be possible for this season. Following the departure of Brett Seymour this week, speculation has intensified Hull are close to bringing in a new addition to strengthen the squad. Wests Tigers scrum-half Jacob Miller is among a number of players Hull are understood to have looked at, but Gentle says current speculation is nothing more than just that. And the Hull coach admits that after spending the past year looking for a half-back, he's not certain Hull will be able to strength further with a permanent addition, instead possibly having to look at a loan. "I don't know whether we will be able to do anything this year with what is available. I don't think there is a lot out there and we may have to explore loan options," said Gentle. "All it is so far is rumour and speculation. When we sign someone we'll let people know and until then I won't be commenting on any names or identifying who we are talking to. "Richard Horne and Aaron Heremaia are doing a good job and we are hoping to have Daniel Holdsworth back soon. We will deal with what we have got. "We are continually looking, but we have been the last 12 months, nothing has changed. "There are probably four Super league clubs looking for half-backs and you have to find someone that 16 NRL clubs are willing to pass up on. "It is not as easy as saying we are going to get a half-back. We will continue to look at it."
