HULL FC winger Jason Crookes will appear in court charged with slapping and punching two women in a city bar.
Crookes, 22, has been summonsed to Hull Magistrates Court in June to face two charges of common assault.
He was interviewed by police in January after a photograph of a man wanted in connection with the assault appeared as part of the Mail's Caught on Camera campaign.
The alleged assault happened inside Soho Bar in Posterngate, city centre, in December last year.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police confirmed a 22-year-old man has been summonsed to court.
