HULL KR suffered a 50-30 defeat at high-flying Huddersfield this afternoon as the Giants ran in eight tries for a third successive win.
Huddersfield were 26-12 up at the break as tries from Craig Kopczak and hooker Shaun Lunt were added to by efforts from Michael Lawrence and Joe Wardle and a Danny Brough penalty.
The Robins responded through a Craig Hall try and one for former Huddersfield full-back Greg Eden, with Michael Dobson converting both.
In the second half, Rovers pulled closer through Eden's second try, but from then on in they were up against it.
Brough's cheeky kick-through put Scott Grix in and, although Hall set up Con Mika at the other end, Lunt's second try put them in command, before further tries from Brett Ferres and Joe Wardle sealed the win.
Rovers got a consolation from former Giants winger David Hodgson, which converted by Dobson on the hooter, but they were already soundly beaten.
