HULL City limped over the line to collect three points against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
And when I think I am looking at a side playing for automatic promotion to the Premier League, there are a few worrying signs developing.
Steve Bruce's men are not at their best at present and, as he said afterwards, they will need to play a lot better in the coming weeks if they are to hold on to that second spot.
I can't see any reason for the players to be lacking confidence at this stage of the season, given they have been at the top pretty much all of the campaign.
The belief is there, as is the team spirit, so perhaps it is a mental thing for the players at the minute, with the Premier League now within touching distance.
We often see sides tighten up, as players don't want to make mistakes when so much is at stake.
For me, though, the problem in the last two games has been in midfield, where City have failed to dominate.
There is no doubt the problem has coincided with David Meyler being out suspended, and his return at Ipswich next week will make a big difference.
We have seen in his absence how Meyler's aggression and ability to get up and down the pitch has been missed.
Stephen Quinn was excellent again on his return to the side, as he gave his usual busy performance.
However, he needs someone like Meyler alongside him to have his full impact, as you know Meyler is going to do the hard graft.
Unfortunately, and I have said this many times this season, you don't get that from Robert Koren.
In many games this season I am afraid he has been a waste of a shirt, as the matches have passed him by.
That was the case again on Saturday, and for me, you can't afford to have a player like that in the final run-in when you are scrapping for vital points.
Koren has, in my opinion, kept his place because we all know he is capable of producing a long-range spectacular goal out of nothing.
But if he doesn't do that, what do you get from him?
Elsewhere across the side, I do see too many issues.
David Stockdale is steady and made a superb low save to deny Scott McDonald late on, and the defence has been solid all year.
But there is a concern over Alex Bruce now after he went off injured, and if he misses this weekend we will have to hope Jack Hobbs is close to making a quick return.
Abdoulaye Faye was outstanding. He just breezed through the game and doesn't appear to have any nerves at all. It was a superb display from him, and I feel his influence will be key over the final few weeks.
Up front, Bruce is still on the lookout for goals, as Gedo is struggling to find that form which he started with when the adrenalin was running following his move from Egypt.
Bruce's options remain limited here also, as Jay Simpson has been tried many times and, despite his workrate and hold-up play, he doesn't score the goals.
I am sure Bruce will have his fingers crossed that Matty Fryatt comes into contention.
As I say, there are a few things to worry about and for Bruce to consider, but they are second in the league so there is no need for panic. City have to leave that to us lot sat in the stands.
